Vivo has started rolling out the Android 11 update for its V20 Pro 5G in India.
As per the changelog, the firmware brings chat bubbles, priority chat function, and notification history to the device.
The update also bumps the Android security patch on the smartphone to November 2020 and changes the ROM version in its “About phone” menu to vos OS_2.0.

The firmware carries version number PD2020F_EX_A_6.70.8 and has a download size of around 3.6GB. It is being rolled out in a phased manner via the over-the-air (OTA) method. To manually check for the update, go to Settings>System Updates.

It is offered in Sunset Melody, Midnight Jazz, and Moonlight Sonata colors.

The Vivo V20 Pro 5G smartphone draws power from an octa-core Snapdragon 765G chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The smartphone runs on Android 11 and packs a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
It offers support for the latest connectivity options, including dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G, GPS, and a Type-C port.
