Pallipalayam chicken is all time favourite for all non-veg lovers.The taste of this recipe makes your tummy feel good.Tastes good and Spicy.
chicken – 1 kg
onions 40-50 chopped
red chilli – 10
curry leaves – few
tomato – 1 (remove seeds and chop finely)
turmeric powder – 3 tbsp
salt – required.
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
heat a kadai (i used IRON kadai).
add oil(gingelly oil) – 3 tbsb
add mustard seeds – 2 tsp
add the red chillies split straight into halves.
add few curry leaves.
saute it (donot burn)
add the chicken and mix well.
add the onions chopped and add the tomatoes.
add turmeric powder and salt.
cover and cook for half an hour.
once cooked add ghee – 2 tbsp
sprinkle coriander leaves and serve with hot rice.
