Anushka Sharma congratulates ‘love’ Virat Kohli on India’s T20 series win against Australia

Actor Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram Stories to post a congratulatory message for Team India and her husband Virat Kohli after India registered a sensational win against Australia in the 2nd T20. Sharing a picture from the winning moment, Anushka took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “Series win & brilliant team effort!! Men in blue. Congratulations my love.”

For the uninformed, India beat Australia by six wickets in the second T20 International to secure the three-match series at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday. India had won the first T20 by 11 runs in Canberra on Friday. The inconsequential third T20 will be played on Tuesday.

Anushka and Virat are expecting their first child in January and while the actor is not by Virat’s side in Australia, she is sure there in spirit as she supports her husband and Team India’s exploits on the field.

Recently, Anushka broke the internet after she posted a throwback picture of herself performing a headstand (Shirshasana) with support from a wall and help from her husband and Indian skipper Virat Kohli. In the photo, the actor could be seen upside down pulling off the asana effortlessly with her growing baby bump.

With her Instagram post, Anushka explained the whole procedure and how she did it under the supervision of her yoga teacher. The caption read as “This exercise is ‘hands-down’ (and legs up) the most difficult one #Throwback PS: As yoga is a big part of my life, my doctor recommended that I can do all such asanas that I was doing before I was pregnant barring twists & extreme-forward bends, but of course with the appropriate and required support. For the Shirshasana, which I have been doing for many years, I ensured that I used the wall for support and also my very able husband supporting my balance, to be extra safe. This was also done under the supervision of my yoga teacher @eefa_shrof who was virtual with me through this session. I’m so glad I could continue my practice through my pregnancy. “
